I grew up in the shadow of Mt. St. Helens, on a little farm in the forest cloaked valleys that lie hidden amongst the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. The Pacific Northwest is my home, and its beauty inspired me from an early age to capture its splendor through my camera lens as well as through the written word. This drive to artistic creation and journalistic recording of our changing world has honed my skills in both capturing photos and videos, and in editing them to bring out their full potential. I have also sought out new tools and techniques to further improve my work, and in recent years I have become a proficient drone pilot so as to capture an aerial perspective, and to reach those places where mortal feet may not tread.

I am a professional freelance photographer, videographer, and writer whos work appears in publications including Lifewire.com, Digital Trends, Seattle Backpackers Magazine, and local newspapers. I have worked with Westland Distilleries on their Outpost advertising campaign, and my video work has been featured several times on the national television show "Right This Minute". Additionally, I work on a professional basis for non-profit organizations such as the Center for Responsible Forestry and the Friends of Willapa National Wildlife Refuge.

If you're interested in hiring me for photo or video projects I am open to considering a range of projects, with preference given to environmental non-profits. To enquire, please get in touch with me through the provided contact form.
